in a timely manner. The actual time and date your order is delivered is
affected by the time of day your order is placed, the method of delivery
or shipping you select, weather conditions, and whether the destination is
a remote location. Their delivery policies explain the delivery options
available to you and how they process orders.
Delivery Status
You may inquire into
the status of any existing order by calling their customer service line at
1-800-600-9882, or you may e-mail them at E-mail.
Please have your confirmation number available for prompt service. If they
have any difficulties with your order, they will contact you by telephone
and/or e-mail.
Floral Deliveries to the U.S. and
Canada
In the U.S. and Canada, same-day delivery is generally
available Monday through Saturday on orders received before 2:00 pm in the
recipient's time zone (12 noon on Saturday). Orders received after that
time may be delivered the next delivery day. There are no deliveries on
Sundays and legal holidays. They cannot guarantee same-day delivery during
peak floral delivery periods including Christmas, Valentine's Day, and
Mother's Day. Please make sure that your order information is accurate and
complete in order to avoid delivery delays.
Floral Order Delivery Times
Most
florist shops make deliveries during normal business hours (9 AM to 5 PM).
However, since Internet Florist does not know each florist's delivery schedule for a
particular day, they will be unable to guarantee delivery requests for a
specific time or within an hourly range. Requests may be taken for either
an AM or PM delivery, but they cannot be guaranteed.
If the recipient is not at home at the time of delivery, the
florist may choose to:
- Leave the arrangement with a neighbor and attach a note
to the recipient's door stating who accepted the arrangement on their
behalf.
- Leave a note on the recipient's door asking the recipient
to call the florist's shop and arrange a convenient time for
re-delivery.
- Call the recipient first to arrange a delivery time.
If the recipient is at work all day, we suggest sending the
arrangement to the workplace. Incomplete or incorrect address or phone
numbers may delay delivery.
Gift Items Shipped Directly
Several
of their gift items are shipped directly through Federal Express, Airborne,
or UPS. At this time, they are unable to ship to PO boxes, hotels, or
hospitals. Cut-off times for same-day shipment and available shipping
options are clearly marked on the order form for each item. The date your
order will be received will depend on the shipping date and the shipping
method you select. Items shipped UPS Ground can take 3 to 7 business days,
and delivery dates are not guaranteed. Items shipped Overnight or 2-Day
are guaranteed to be delivered within that period. Please note that the
guaranteed shipping options are based on business days, so an order
shipped on a Friday by FedEx 2-Day would be delivered on the following
Tuesday. Orders shipped to Canadian addresses will be delivered in 1 to 3
business days.
International Floral Deliveries
Due
to the various time zones between the U.S. and other continents, same day
delivery is not available. Next business day delivery is available to most
areas for orders received by 12 noon CST. Internet Florist can only guarantee delivery
dates for orders received two business days in advance.
Holiday Delivery Information
Due to
increased volume of floral and gift orders being delivered during peak
holiday periods, most florists require flexible delivery dates during
these times. For this reason Internet Florist cannot offer their same-day delivery service
during the following major floral holiday periods: Thanksgiving,
Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, and Mother's Day.
